During the week of 7 – 11 December, most African currencies depreciated by up to 3.1% against the US dollar. Eight currencies appreciated by up to 2.7% vis-à-vis the US dollar including the
Gambian Dalasi,
Ghana’s New Cedi,
Malawi’s Kwacha, the
Mauritius Rupee, São Tomé and Príncipe’s Dobra, the
Seychelles Rupee,
Sierra Leone’s Leone and the
