During the week of 21 – 25 December, most African currencies fluctuated within the range of ±1.5% against the US dollar. Stronger exchange rate changes occurred only for the 
Seychelles Rupee which recorded the highest gain of 11.5% followed by 
Kenyan Shilling up by 2.9%. On the other hand,
