Market Intelligence - Currencies

During the week of 23 – 27 November, most African currencies appreciated by up to 3.1% against the US dollar. Eight currencies depreciated slightly by up to 1.3% vis-à-vis the US dollar including Angola’s New Kwanza, the Burundi Franc, Malawi’s Kwacha, Sierra Leone’s Leone and the Uganda Shilling.
