Market Intelligence - Equities

Many African stock markets rallied. The stock markets in Kenya and Egypt recorded big gains of 5.7% and 3.8%, respectively. The stock markets in Côte d'Ivoire, Mauritius, Morocco, Nigeria and Tunisia registered relatively small gains of up to 1.9% over the week. In contrast, the South African stock market recorded a loss of 1.2% during the week.

Equity Focus
